Get Ready For A Summer Of Art Play!

Updated: 1 day ago

Hey lovely Bundabubs families, firstly I want to say a HUGE thank you for all your support this year. Because of you, Bundabubs has been buzzing with creativity, laughter, messy hands and colourful masterpieces. We’ve loved seeing your little ones dive into the world of paint, clay and imagination and we can’t wait to keep the magic going this summer. Below is everything you need to know about our Summer Holiday Sessions and why you’ll want to join us.

What’s On: Summer Holiday Art Sessions at Bundabubs

At Bundabubs, we believe in the power of play, paint, and a pinch of silliness — because that’s how true creativity blooms. This holiday we’re offering a joyful mixture of:

  • Toddler Art Sessions — perfect for our youngest budding artists (under 5s).

  • Beachy Art Play A favourite for kids of all ages. YOu have to see it to believe it!

  • Indoor Beach-themed Sessions Ideal for those who want to do some shopping while the kids play in a contained A/C area! We’ve got one for toddlers and one for older kids.

  • Art Journalling for older kids (5+). Getting creative in the library - it's got calm, cozy, artsy, booksy vibes written all over it!

So whether your little one wants to get messy, build clay creatures, make hand-print masterpieces, or just splash around with paint by the waves, there’s a Summer holiday art session for everyone this Summer!

Why Bundabubs is a Win for Kids (and Parents!)

For Kids: Creativity, Confidence, and Exploration

  • Freedom to create, their way. In our classes, children choose their own materials, make their own decisions, and explore at their own pace. No templates. No rules. Just imagination.

  • Mixed-age magic. Our Beachy Art Play sessions are mixed-age, which means younger and older kids collaborate, share ideas, and learn from each other. Younger siblings (under 5) are welcome — just with parent support.

  • Sensory play builds creativity. From finger-painting to clay, gluing paper scraps to mixing colours — these are all activities that build fine motor skills, spark imagination, and encourage experimentation without pressure. They allow children to build pathways in their brains that lead to creativity!

  • Confidence, self-expression, and belonging. Each child’s artwork is unique. No paint-by-numbers here, just true expression, pride in what they make, and the joy of seeing their ideas come to life. This kind of creative freedom fosters self-esteem and a sense of identity. (We see it in every little “look-what-I-did!” smile.)

For Parents: A (Short but Wonderful) Break ❤️

Let’s be honest, parenting is awesome but it’s also tiring. That’s why at Bundabubs we often say: our art play sessions are your time to breathe. When your kids are busy painting, sculpting and creating you can:

  • Dive into a good book

  • Take a swim or soak up some sunshine

  • Have a peaceful cuppa (or even a nap, no judgement!)

  • Chat with another parent who’s just as ready for a quiet moment as you are

We wholeheartedly encourage you to take this time for yourself: swim, relax, stroll along the beach, or simply enjoy a moment of calm.

And don’t worry — if your child needs a little extra support, you’re always welcome to stay and join in. Just let us know ahead of time so we can make it as smooth and supportive as possible.

What Happens in a Class?

Our art play sessions usually run for 1-1.5 hours but we know this is never enough for some so this holiday we also have a 3 hour session for those kids who just love to art play. And for parents who'd like a bit longer to themselves!

Here's what our classes include:

  • A wide variety of art materials — paint, clay, craft items galore, paper, stickers, and more.

  • Unlimited creative freedom: children choose what they want to use, how they want to use it, and what they want to make. We encourage independence and imagination.

  • Sometimes messy, always hands on, it is sensory-rich play that’s liberating, tactile, and so much fun. Just be sure to dress your little one in something that can get messy!

  • A nourishing note: these sessions often make kids hungry and thirsty — so bring a water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, and a hat (especially for our beach sessions!).

If you do want to stay and supervise, or even join in, that’s totally fine. But many of our sessions are designed to be drop-and-go, giving you a little extra time while your mini-Picasso creates masterpieces.

Beachy Art Play — Summer Vibes On!

Our Beachy Art Play sessions are a highlight of the season. As you’ll find on our Summer Sessions page, we’ve got three Beachy Art sessions planned — and one of them is already booked out (so book in quick!)

Beachy Art Play gives kids the chance to:

  • Play with paint in a structured and unstructure way using their imaginations and the beach around them as inspiration.

  • Connect with nature while letting their creativity flow

  • Collaborate with other kids, share ideas and play play play play play.

For kids aged 3+ it’s the perfect way to combine the joy of the beach with the magic of art play.

If you’ve had your eye on joining us for Beachy Art Play now’s the time to book in!

Thank You for an Amazing Year

We can’t wait to see more of you in the new year.

G x
