I get asked what I'm reading quite a lot recently so here's a few I've been enjoying in the run up to Christmas.
Have you read any of them?
🎨 Art is everywhere by Ellie Chan and Liv Bargman is such a gorgeous book full of easy to digest info and beautiful illuatrations. I'm currently making my way through the non-fiction art books at the library and loving it!
👩🏫 For anyone who has been a first year teacher or anyone wanting to know what it's like, The Secret Teacher by anonymous is the perfect insight into the good, the bad and the ugly!
☕️ Tales from the Cafe by Toshikazu Kawaguchi is part of a series I found through @perthwomensbookclub. The best books to listen to on my early morning walks. I have been following along with their book club picks and have also read their next one - Happy Place by Emily Henry.
📆 I've loved the Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman. I'm really going to miss that gang now that the series is finished. Definitely one to re-read again and again!
🌈 The Secret Lives of Colour by Cassia St Clair is up there with one of the most interesting books I've ever read. So many things I never knew about something I thought I knew about!
📚 What you are looking for is in the library by Michiko Aoyama is a brilliant book for anyone who loves libraries like me. It made me want to work in a library even more than I already do!
🎁 I was given a Frankie subscription for my birthday - best gift ever! I love having it close at hand for a quick fix of inspiring words and art work. It's my self care time!
🎄 Lastly from one of my favourite authors Almost Christmas by Nina Stibbe. Hilarious, totally relatable stories about Christmas.
⭐️ Tell me in the comments, what are you reading at the moment? Any cosy Christmas book recommendations?
